On 10 February 2022, Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) held a ceremony to grant the listing decision and celebrate the official share trading date of Power Generation Joint Stock Corporation 3 (EVNGENCO3) with stock ticker PGV on HOSE. Listing on HOSE is both a big challenge and opportunity for EVNGENCO3 to constantly improve its reputation, brand, transparency and efficiency in corporate governance, opening up more opportunities for closer access to domestic and foreign investors.

In digital transformation and automation, EVNGENCO3 has 3 automation products displayed at the Electricity Industry Automation Conference in the trend of digital transformation i.e., Metal tank painting robot (PM TANKBOT 1), simulation Automatic Transfer System (ATS) researched and developed by Phu My Thermal Power Company and Automatic hydrological data monitoring, calculation and transmission system (BK HYDROLOG) fabricated and installed by Buon Kuop Hydropower Company. The achievements in digital transformation have contributed significantly to improving production and business efficiency, increasing labor productivity, enhancing the reliability of power supply and ensuring the provision of power plant repair and operation services to customers.

On 09 December 2022, at Vietnam - Luxembourg Enterprise Forum, Mr. Dinh Quoc Lam - EVNGENCO3 Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Chon Hung - PECC2 Chairman and Mr. Joseph T Bucker - Vice Chairman of Babcock & Wilcox jointly signed a MoU as a foundation for cooperation in technical solutions applicable to the power plants under EVNGENCO3 in the routine of energy transfer. The ceremony was witnessed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and other Government agencies of Vietnam and Luxembourg.

The MoU has opened a chance for EVNGENCO3 to approach technical solution and financial support for its coal power plants that will be initially deployed at EVNGENCO3 and then expanded to other coal power plants in Vietnam in the direction for enhancing operation efficiency and building an emission reduction roadmap towards decarbonization.

In May 2022 along with the business trip of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the US and the business agenda of the EVN leaders, EVNGENCO3 had some meetings with LNG partners such as Tellurian Inc, Cheniere Energy and a long-term partner of General Electric Group about development plan and collaboration promotion in the field of power plant O&M services, new power projects.

With the spirit of sharing and supporting, EVNGENCO3 is always a pioneer in giving psychological values to the community. Total amount spent for social programs of EVNGENCO3 in 2022 valued at VND10 billion, such as accompanying “Belief School” to donate 47 students lost of parenting from Covid-19 in HCMC, supporting “Milk for School” program, helping the people affected by natural disaster, giving computers and school supplies to the remote areas with the desire of pervading the sharing and solidarity spirit to the community.
